What to Expect
Some of the most common feedback that we get from new visitors is "I didn't know what to expect!" We understand! It's absolutely a bit strange to pull up to a commercial garage door in the middle of backwoods Marysville. However, you can really start to get a feel for what we're about when you open that door:
Inside, amidst the chaos, you will find a diverse and inclusive group of makers working on projects or hanging out chatting. There is likely to be someone using the laser cutters, working on knitting projects, painting miniatures, programming a game, designing a new 3D print, or just having a beer with friends!
Keystone Makers is all about community. We foster a safe, accepting environment where you can feel confident in being you. Feel free to nerd out and get excited about some esoteric niche product. We assure you, if we don't already have a member who shares that interest, it is very likely that someone will want to learn from you!
Be confident in the knowledge that you are welcome here. Keystone Makers does not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or anything adjacent. Keystone Makers is no place for hate (except for dropped stitches, failed prints, and missing semicolons).
